The Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Tirana, is a juridical person, that exercises its activity according to the law No.9640, date 09.11.2006 "For the Chambers of Commerce and Industry" and other Albanian legislation.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry is created and functions within the District of Tirana and exercises its activity under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy of the Republic of Albania.

The membership in the Chamber is obligatory for the state enterprises, and for the juridical persons, registered in the Commerce Register, and is voluntary for the physical persons in the quality of businessmen, who exercise commercial or industrial activity.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Tirana:
Represents and protects the lawful economical interests of its members;

Stimulates the commercial and industrial activity in the country and the economic and trade collaboration with other countries;
Undertakes every action that helps stimulation and safety of commerce and industry according to the object of its activity and the actual legislation.

Gives opinions, proposals and evaluations for the legal initiatives or public politics, undertaken by the central and local government or other public subjects, whose content affects the interest of the Chamber's members.

Organizes Business Forums and Missions, in the context of collaboration with homologue Chambers of other countries, that aim the stimulation of private enterprises for making bilateral contacts, and the stimulation of commerce and economical collaboration.

Organizes and/or takes part in fairs and exhibits with local, national and international character, and supervises the implementation from the business subjects of participation rules in international fairs outside Albania.
